APBI was established with the aim of creating an open and neutral channel, embraced by professionals in Business Intelligence and Big Data, employees, regulators, academics, and public and governmental responders. Its purpose is to facilitate discussions and solve common problems within the framework of democracy and information transparency. APBI serves as a bridge between professionals and the general public, addressing questions, translating technical concepts into accessible language, and providing a platform for dialogue, opportunity appreciation, and the enhancement of asset value. Business Intelligence (BI) is an open concept that refers to technologies, applications, and processes that contribute to business knowledge by analyzing and using critical information for decision-making. It is also known as Decision Support Systems. BI encompasses technologies that gather, generate, and provide information, including data warehousing, analytics, and data mining. This field is closely related to Corporate Performance Management and Management Control, utilizing monitoring and organizational planning for development. It includes Balanced Scorecard (BSC), Key Performance Indicators (KPIs), dashboards, and forecasting applications, along with planning and organizational planning.
