Applied Wine was founded in 2010 by Christian Pillsbury with one main objective: to make great wine programmes easy for restaurants. We think that every restaurant should have a great wine programme, one that impresses customers, complements the cuisine, and above all is profitable for the restaurant. Yet navigating the complex and competitive wine business is challenging, risky and can be expensive. We developed a service that lets restaurants get all of the benefits but none of the hassle in delivering a really great wine programme. And we structured the business so that our incentives are aligned with yours, ensuring we will always work in your interest.
